Jindal Institutions, located in the North-west of Bangalore, was established in 1968 by our Chairman Dr.S.R.Jindal, a visionary who believed in nation-building through need-based educational services.
Main focus has been on the people from Rural areas and First Generation Learners The Pragun Jindal Philanthropic Organization has a history of providing quality education. Jindal PU College a part of Pragun Jindal Philanthropic Organization was established in the year 2003 with the vision of the founder Dr.S.R. Jindal to impart life skill education and lifelong education to rural poor students. It aims at Scholastic Development of Students. Initially the PU College provided co education with the strength of 125 students. Sensing the need for Women Empowerment by our founder the college converted into Girls College in the year 2009.
Pragun Jindal Philanthropic Organisation an associate of “Jindals” has been set up with the sole object of imparting value based quality education to the rural poor. Jindal Public School has been rendering service in the field of education up to High School for the last 45 years. The rural poor students are deprived of collegiate education due to lack of colleges in the nearby areas particularly girl students. Having realised the social responsibilities to bridge the gap in offering continuous education to the rural poor up to college level, Pragun Jindal Educational Organisation started the Jindal Pre-University College for Girls in the year 2003, recognised by the Govt. of Karnataka, which offers courses in Science and Commerce streams.
To provide facility of higher education in rural area, the Management started Jindal College for Women in the year 2010, which offers UG Courses such as B.Com, BBA., BCA , B. Sc, BA courses and Post graduate course such as M.Com . The college is affiliated to Bangalore University, Jnanabharathi Campus and is recognized by the Government of Karnataka. It has a well-stacked library, Wi-Fi connectivity, LCD projectors, well-equipped laboratories, and spacious class rooms and sports facilities. The college aims at imparting value based quality education to build a career for rural students. The college is graded ‘B’ by NAAC. The College is committed to impart holistic education in an impartial manner and with a view to achieve academic excellence and instill values based on truth and integrity. The college addresses the time based needs of an evolving globalized society providing formal and non formal education with a view to empower women of all categories which help in the development of family, community , society and the nation.
